How do I replace the inner door glass on my Aduro P4?

Difficulty level: Intermediate
Time consumption: 30 minutes
Tools: Flexible bits screwdriver, TORX bits, Hex bits, PH bits, Flathead bits
Components: P4 glass for inner door

All changes and adjustments must be conducted when the stove is cold and disconnected from the power supply.

Step-by-step guide

1. Remove the door: Gently lift the door off its hinges to remove it from the stove (see picture 1)

2. Remove the frame: Unscrew all the screws surrounding the glass window using the appropriate bits. Once all screws are removed, carefully lift off the frame (see picture 2).

3. Replace the glassTake out the old glass and place the new one in its position. Ensure the new glass rests evenly on the gasket around all edges to maintain a proper seal (see picture 3)

4. Reattach the framePosition the frame back onto the door and remount the screws.

5. Check the sealTo ensure a tight seal, slide a piece of paper around the edge of the glass. If the paper can slide in between the glass and gasket, adjust the screws until the glass is sealed evenly on all sides.

6. Reinstall the doorOnce the glass is properly sealed, remount the door back onto the stove.

The replacement is now complete.
