Aduro flue pipes
Aduro offers three types of flue pipes in the same colour tone as our stoves. The pipes are made of 2 mm quality steel, Ø150 mm, and are used when connecting to a masonry chimney. All Aduro flue pipes are CE marked. When installing flue pipes, it is important to comply with the regulations regarding the distance between the flue pipe and combustible materials.

Choosing the right flue pipe
Your choice of flue pipe depends on the distance to combustible materials. If the distance is more than 45 cm, we recommend choosing an uninsulated flue pipe to achieve the slimmest installation. If the distance is less than 45 cm, the uninsulated flue pipe can be replaced with a semi-insulated or fully insulated flue pipe (please note that fully insulated flue pipes are only compatible with Aduro’s own fully insulated chimney systems and cannot be used with chimneys from other suppliers). You can also install a heat shield between the wall and the flue pipe to increase safety.
If you are unsure, we recommend contacting the chimney sweep responsible for approving the installation for professional advice and guidance.
Installation of flue pipes
Aduro flue pipes have a 50 mm spigot at one end, allowing them to be connected easily. We recommend placing a flat fibreglass gasket on top of the stove and mounting the pipe on it. A 5–6 mm round fibreglass gasket should be used between the flue pipe and the wall sleeve. It is important that the flue pipe extends fully through the wall sleeve and reaches the inner opening of the chimney.
We recommend making the hole in the wall only after you have received the wall sleeve, to ensure the correct hole size.
Note: If you are using semi-insulated flue pipes, the installation process differs slightly. You can find the installation guide for semi-insulated flue pipes here.
