Tools: Smart Phone with the Aduro Pellet Control app installed

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.micronovasrl.ninaaduro
IOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/aduro-pellet-control/id6783832366

Creating an account

Before a stove can be connected, a user account needs to be created.

1. Click on the “Create account" button.

2. Insert your e-mail address and desired password, click continue.

3. Accept the terms and conditions, click continue.

4. Click “Continue” on the summary page. An activation code will be sent to your e-mail address.

5. Open the confirmation e-mail and make a note of the activation code. Click “OK” to return to the login screen.

6. Enter your e-mail address and password, then click “Login”.

7. A window will appear asking for your activation code. Enter the code from the e-mail and click “OK”.

Connecting the app to the stove

1. Click “Add Device” to start connecting the stove to the app. You can also use the QR code button on the right to scan the QR code and automatically import the label information.

2. Enter the MAC address of the Wi-Fi module. You can find it on the Wi-Fi module on the back of the stove or in the quick guide that comes with the stove.

3. Enter the registration code (reg. code) from the label, then click “Continue”.

4. Enter the production number from the type label on the upper back of the stove or from the quick guide. You can also scan the barcode. Then click “Continue”.

5. In some cases, you may be asked to select the stove model. If this screen does not appear, simply continue. Make sure to select the correct stove model, as the app will otherwise not be able to process the data correctly.

6. Review the information and correct any errors. When everything is correct, click “Save”.

7. Choose a name for the device so you can easily recognize it, then click “OK”.

8. You will be asked whether you want to share the device location. This is optional and is only used for support and targeted services. If you select “Yes”, your current location will be registered once.

9. You will then be asked whether you want to configure the stove's network connection. Click “Continue” to start the setup.

10. The stove will search for available local Wi-Fi networks.

11. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect the stove to. In this example, we use “Aduro Guest”.

12. Enter the Wi-Fi password and press the arrow button to connect. Several screens may appear while the connection is being established, including the Wi-Fi list. This is normal and does not mean that the connection has failed.

13. Once the connection has been established, the stove is connected to Wi-Fi and can be controlled via the app.

App functions

There are three main screens in the app. You can switch between them using the icons at the bottom of the screen.

The status screen (i-icon): Shows the current room temperature and smoke temperature.

The settings screen (pencil icon): Shows the stove settings that can be adjusted via the app, including the power level, desired room temperature and canalization settings, if installed.

The chrono screen (clock icon): Allows you to enable, disable and adjust the chrono settings and set scheduled start and stop times for the stove.

The box at the top remains visible on all three screens. Tap the flame icon to switch the stove on or off. The current status is displayed next to the flame icon, e.g. “OFF”.

Additional settings

Tap the gear icon to access additional settings, including network and time settings.

Network, device name and device position: These are configured during the initial setup but can also be changed later.

Date and time: Allows you to adjust the stove's date and time.

Assistance code: A temporary code that can be shared with a service technician to provide remote access to the stove for troubleshooting or service. The code can be revoked by the user at any time and expires after one week.

Remove device: Removes the stove from the user's account, for example if the stove is sold.

User menu

Tap the user icon in the top-right corner to open the side menu.

Settings: Allows you to change the language and switch between light and dark mode.

Add device: Allows you to add another stove to your account.

Switch to local mode: Allows you to control the stove via Bluetooth if Wi-Fi is unavailable.
Notice: We recommend using Wi-Fi whenever possible to ensure full functionality.

Privacy: Allows you to view the terms and conditions and privacy settings and change your privacy preferences. Notice: Declining some or all services may limit the user experience and restrict certain app and support functions.

User manual: Provides a direct link to the Aduro manual download page.

Remove account: Allows you to delete your account. This will log you out and delete your user data. Notice: Stove data, such as temperature and power recordings, may not be deleted, as this data is anonymised and linked to the stove rather than the user account.
