Is my stove compliant with regulations?

When you purchase a bio stove, you don't need to have it approved before using it. All you have to do is make sure that you comply with the relevant distance requirements, which you can find in the user manual

However, when you purchase a wood, hybrid, or pellet stove, there are several regulations and laws regarding installation, safety, and emissions that your stove must comply with to be legally used. Please check the regulations and laws in your country. If you're unsure about the requirements, consult your local dealer, local authorities, or a certified chimney sweep for advice.

Distance requirements
You have to make sure that the stove is placed with the right distance to combustible materials. Find the user manuals for your Aduro stove here to check the distance requirements.

Approval of the stove
You may not begin to use the stove until it has been inspected and approved by your local chimney sweep.

How do I get my stove approved?

To get your wood burning, pellet, or hybrid stove approved, you need to contact your local chimney sweep.

If you have purchased a bio stove, you do not need to have it approved before use.

Can I get a stove if I don’t have a chimney?

You cannot install a wood burning stove, hybrid stove or pellet stove without a chimney, but you can easily purchase a bio stove, which does not require a chimney. Find the Aduro bio stove here.
