Description

Create cosiness, warmth and atmosphere with real flames from the Aduro B6M Bio Fireplace, designed by C.F. Møller. The B6M comes with a sliding door made of curved glass, which reflects and enhances the experience of the flames. The bio fireplace can be used with the glass door either open or closed, allowing you to choose the look you prefer.

The bio fireplace can be used as it is and placed, for example, on the floor, a bench, a low windowsill or a piece of furniture. However, it must not be placed on combustible materials. If you wish to place the bio fireplace on a combustible surface, an optional base is available to raise the bio fireplace. The base is designed as a natural extension of the Aduro B6M, with the same cylindrical shape, diameter, material and finish.

Even if you live in an apartment. The Aduro B6M can easily be moved between different rooms in the home as well as between indoor and outdoor spaces, such as a balcony or terrace. However, be aware that the fireplace is not rust-protected and must therefore be brought indoors when not in use. If stored outdoors, corrosion will occur.

Our bio fireplaces are designed for safe and easy refilling and operation, allowing you to enjoy real flames without hassle.

The patented safety feature, Aduro Bio-Safe, indicates whether the bio fireplace is too hot to fill. When the bio fireplace is above 40°C, a heat-sensitive spring prevents the filling funnel from being attached. This allows you to light your bio fireplace safely and easily.

Does a Bio Fireplace smell?

When using high-quality bioethanol, odours from a bio fireplace are minimal. We therefore recommend liquid bioethanol with an alcohol content of 93–96.5%, marked UN 1170. We also recommend using the fireplace in a well-ventilated room.

Can you use a bio fireplace in an apartment?

A bio fireplace is an ideal choice for an apartment, as it requires neither a chimney nor installation.

How much heat does a bio fireplace produce?

Aduro's bio fireplaces have an average heat output of approximately 2.8 kW and provide a pleasant warmth that can make a living room of around 20 m² feel comfortably warm, even on a cold day. However, bio fireplaces are intended as a supplement to the home's main heating system.

How much does it cost to use a bio fireplace?

Depending on the size of the burner, one litre of bioethanol provides a burn time of approximately 3–4 hours (B1 & B2) or 7–8 hours (B4M, B5M & B6M). The price and burn time may vary depending on the bioethanol used and the conditions during operation.

Is a bio fireplace safe?

Yes, Aduro's bio fireplaces are designed with safety in mind and comply with the European standard EN16647:2015. The patented Aduro Bio-Safe safety feature prevents refilling if the burner is above 40°C. The ceramic fibres inside the burner also absorb the bioethanol, reducing the risk of spills.

Can a bio fireplace be used outdoors?

Yes, Aduro's bio fireplaces can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, the fireplaces are not rust-resistant and should therefore be brought indoors when not in use. Only move the fireplace once it has cooled down.

Does a bio fireplace need a chimney or ventilation?

An Aduro bio fireplace requires neither a chimney nor an electrical connection. Bioethanol produces no smoke, soot or ash during combustion. However, we recommend using the fireplace in a well-ventilated room and ensuring that the minimum room size requirements are met. Please refer to the manual for specific requirements and specifications.
