Right of complaint Aduro wood burning stoves
When you buy an Aduro or Asgård wood burning stove, your right to complain is governed by the sales legislation in the country where the stove was bought. Additionally, you can extend your statutory right of complaint with an extra 3 year warranty at no additional cost if you have bought an Aduro wood burning stove. On this page, we explain how our warranty process works and what you need to be aware of.

3-year extended warranty
If you buy an Aduro wood burning stove, we offer you a 3-year extended warranty free of charge. All you need to do is register your stove within five months of purchase (calculated from the invoice date). Your extended warranty will begin the day after the statutory warranty expires.
Your benefits:
- Extended warranty in the rare case of manufacturing faults
- Faster service, since we already have the needed information on your stove
- Save your receipt online, so it never gets lost
- Monthly newsletter with relevant news and useful tips for firing, maintenance and much more
Please note: You need the stove's production number for the warranty registration.
Note: The possibility of extended warranty only applies to Aduro wood burning stoves. It does not apply to hybrid stoves, pellet stoves, Asgård wood burning stoves, or bio stoves. If you already have a statutory right of complaint of 5 years or longer, you cannot extend the warranty, but you will still get the other benefits when you register.

What does the right of complaint consist of?
According to the Sale of Goods Act, the right of complaint lasts two years from the date of purchase of the stove, and the purchase receipt with the date serves as proof.
Please note that the right of complaint applies according to the Sale of Goods Act in the country where the stove is purchased. If the stove is moved to another country or an area far from the dealer where the stove was purchased (e.g., to an island), you are not guaranteed extended warranty or service options for the stove. The stove should always be purchased in the country and the area where it is to be installed.
What does the right of complaint not cover?
- Damage caused by incorrect installation and use of the wood burning stove, such as overheating and lack of maintenance of the wood burning stove
- Loose parts and consumable service parts (refractory stones, glass, gaskets, rails, painted surfaces, and cast iron grate), as they wear with normal use. These parts can be purchased here.
- Damage as a result of (condensation) water in and around the chimney, too high or low chimney draft, and lack of maintenance/cleaning.
- Damage to the wood burning stove caused by external influences or damage caused by the wood burning stove to other objects.
