How do I install and adjust the door handle on Asgård stoves?

This article applies to the following stoves: Asgård 1, 2, 3, 4, 9 and 9.1

Difficulty level: Easy
Time consumption: 10 minutes
Tools: 10 mm wrench, PH3 screwdriver
Components: 1 handle, 1 spring washer, 1 M6 Phillips screw and 1 nut

Please note: All changes and adjustments must be conducted when the stove is cold.

Please follow these instructions to install the new door handle: 

1. If a handle is already installed, uninstall this by unscrewing the Phillips screw (see image 1).
2. Use the screw, washer, and nut that was used to mount the old handle. Mount the new handle by placing the washer and the handle on the mounting piece on the door (see image 2).
3. Insert the screw and screw it into place (see image 3).

4. To make sure that the screw stays put, use your fingers to screw the nut onto the screw (see image 4).
5. Use the PH3 screwdriver and the 10 mm wrench to tighten the screw and the nut (see image 5), while still making sure that the handle can move:
6. You have now installed the new handle.
