Baffle plate (51099)

Baffle plate in vermiculite that insulates the combustion chamber and helps leading the flue gases and heat to the back and up to the chimney.

By directing the smoke and heat in a certain direction, the heat is used more efficiently in the stove, which creates better and cleaner combustion.

The baffle plate must be replaced, when cracks wider than 5 mm appear, or when the plate is worn down to half thickness.
