The ceramic igniter uses electricity to quickly generate high heat. The ceramic surface is heat-resistant and insulates the pipe. When air is sent through the warm pipe, the air heats up and ignites the pellets in the brazier. The ceramic igniter is a wear part, which must be replaced when needed.
